E-Banking
E ZWICH
The e-zwich system offers Deposit and Withdrawal from
Okomfo Anokye Rural Bank. It is a platform that enables the Banks
to inter-operate. (ie with ezwich card, a customer can use the card
in any Bank that provide the ezwich service).
Benefits
- Enhanced Security: Transactions require fingerprint (biometric) authentication, making it nearly impossible for anyone else to use your card if it is lost or stolen.
- Offline Transactions: The card can perform many functions, such as deposits and withdrawals, in areas with poor or no internet connectivity.
- Salary and Wage Payments: Many government schemes (like NSS) and private employers use e-zwich for instant salary loading, reducing the need for physical cash handling.
- Interoperability: You can use your card at any bank, ATM, or Point of Sale (POS) terminal across Ghana, regardless of which bank originally issued the card.
- Financial Inclusion: It serves as a bank account on its own, allowing individuals without a traditional account to save and receive money.
