Dr. Cynthia Asamoah Gyimah is a dynamic and dedicated Headmistress of St. Monica's Senior High School, Mampong-Ashanti. She is a visionary leader with great experience in Senior High School management. Having moved through the ranks of Classroom Teacher, Head of Department, Assistant Headmistress Administration, Assistant Headmistress Domestic, and currently as the Headmistress. She is a visionary result-driven leader with the passion for transformative education. Since her assumption as the Headmistress of the school, her vision has been to focus on creating a safe and supportive learning environment where the girl-child can thrive academically and socially. She is a courageous leader who is able to manage situations without panicking. She is highly embraced for how she maintains high standards by being open to dialogue with students, staff, parents and all stakeholders. Her vision of being the best or among the best has been the driven ambition that has reflected in the quality performance and percentage results the school has achieved since she assumed the role as the Headmistress. She has demonstrated a proven track record in raising high academic standards and fostering collaborative relationships with her students and staff. Dr. Asamoah Gyimah's leadership role is anchored on compassion, discipline, motivation for her students and staff, and ambition for quality results. Mentoring her students and staff, engaging past students, parents and stakeholders with dignity and respect, and building partnerships that remove barriers to keep the girl-child out of school, are the principles that have made her achieve the desired results.
